13 Joakim Noah C 6'11" - 232lbs, Feb 25, 1985 College: Florida
Joakim Noah looked lost at times during his first two years the league. He found himself in the position where he is the tallest Bulls player on the court, but he is perhaps the slightest, making the post a nightmare for him. The best use for him seemed to be as an energy player. His performance so far in his third season has shown that he has made that jump center’s need to make in their third year. He is among the better rebounders in the league, excels defending the pick and roll, and seems to finally understand the offense in the NBA. The game really seems to have slowed down for him and many may say that he reminds them of a certain Bill Cartwright. He will never be a strong post defender with his frame, but he still seems like he will be a very serviceable starting NBA player. He has an awkward jumper that he takes a bit too often and can occasionally dive to the hoop with a thunderous dunk.
