Tyrus Thomas is an athlete. That is his major role with the Chicago Bulls. He can jump out of the gym blocking shots, rebounding, or going up for dunks. It seems like so many years ago, but at one time the Chicago Bulls thought he would be something more. He always teased fans with little runs where he actually had a jump shot, but his role seems to be pretty defined now in his fourth NBA season. Thomas is an athlete to be used for weakside help in the post and to get out and run with Rose on the break.
